USATF-NE stands for U.S.A. Track and Field New England.

It puts on events in New England for the sports of track & field, road running, cross country, race walking, & mountain ultra trail.

What is the USATF-NE Grand Prix?

The USATF-NE Grand Prix is a series of seven road races of varying distances that USATF members can compete in. See below for the 2024 race schedule:

What's required to run a race in the USATF-NE Grand Prix with SRR?

You must be an SRR member and a USATF member with SRR selected as your member club.

You will need to register for each USATF race. Note that SRR typically pays for club members’ entry to two USATF races per year, which offsets the cost of the USATF and SRR memberships.

Why run for Team SRR?

  • You can compete both as an individual and as part of a team. We typically field men’s and women’s open (< 40) and masters (40+) teams for each race.

  • You don’t have be fast to be a valuable part of the team! You can help your SRR team just by showing up, since we need a minimum number of runners in each division to score. This is how teams can score and win.

  • You’ll get your registration fees covered for 2 of the 7 USATF races

  • You'll get the scoop on discount codes for most of the Grand Prix races.

  • We're a fun group of people who like to show up together in style; we carpool and offer group transportation options to help everybody get to the starting line.

  • When requested, we help organize childcare for races to make racing more accessible to everyone!

Do I have to run all 7 Grand Prix races?

No! While we want folks to run in as many as they can, there's no requirement to run in all the races.
